We have beginner classes starting next week in the new studio!! Join the watercolour class on Tuesdays Jan 10th from 1-3 OR 7 to 9. I wanted to offer a daytime class too for those who don't like going out at night.
These are some of the small paintings we painted in the last watercolour class. We started with different kinds of washes and turned them into tropical beach scenes. Then we learned to paint leaves and made a wreath. We painted daisies and learned about masking fluid. The rocks were an excellent way to learn how to add all kinds of textures, then we painted simple landscapes and a floral bouquet. Along the way we played with brushes and mark making as well as a little lesson on the colour wheel. There is a whole lot of learning packed into the 6 week class!! I'm sure you will find it's a great way to start out on your watercolour journey.
I will be working on recording this class and putting it up on my website so my online students can take this introduction to watercolour course too.
